The brief was to transform the Town Centre in Melton to be more pedestrian-accessible and safe. Melton City Council was looking to encourage people to engage with streetscape creating spaces that attracted people to the area, whether to shop, visit, or passively enjoy. As part of the Melton Town Centre redevelopment, we focused on developing landscape and streetscape lighting for people of all abilities and ages.

Using a mix of in-ground illumination, seat lighting, and architecturally pleasing lights, we increased the area’s visibility and, in turn, safety. Plus we added lights so people could move around day or night, making the Town Centre a central hub for the community to enjoy.
